Preschool

The part-time preschool program focuses on socialization, early educational concepts, physical literacy with a focus on fundamentals, basic movement and skills taught through fun activities.  Staff build on children's interests and abilities and offer age-appropriate activities and learning centres. Children must be 4 years old to attend. 

Registration is the first Thursday in April for the fall session, and the first Thursday in December for the winter/spring session.

Playgroup

Playgroup is a drop-in program available at various locations in the city. Playgroups may vary depending on the location. Children and their parents/guardians will participate in active play, story time, music, and creative play. Recreation staff will be on site to encourage active play and facilitate opportunities for story time, music, and creative play for lots of fun.
