The Recreation division expects that staff, patrons, participants and guardians adhere to the Recreation Code of Conduct while visiting Recreation facilities and participating in programs and services.
The City of St. John's aims to provide inclusive spaces where possible and maintains a non-smoking/no alcohol policy at all facilities.

The City owns and operates six community centres, which offer various recreation opportunities to residents.
