Road Safety

The safety of City roads is everyone's responsibility. Whether you drive, cycle or walk, you can contribute to road safety by following traffic rules.

The City of St. John's has a strategic direction to be a City that Moves.

Council and staff aim to build a balanced transportation network to get people and goods where they want to go safely. The City does this through:

• Roundabouts
• Traffic Calming
• School zone safety
• Signals, signs and crosswalks and street lighting
