In 1991 the City of St. John’s established St. John’s Clean & Beautiful as the lead non-profit community agency to promote a clean and beautiful city, renamed to Clean St. John’s in 2014. This organization disbanded in 2025, and the City of St. John’s is proud to keep their amazing work going by supporting community clean-ups.

Let’s work together to Clean St. John’s! Whether it's your local park, trail, street, or shoreline, organizing a community clean-up is a great way to make a big impact – and we’re here to help!

How It Works

Planning a clean-up is simple, and the City is proud to support your efforts. When you sign up to organize a clean-up, we’ll provide free garbage bags for your team.

The City will also provide information and support when required for the disposal of all bags filled during your clean-up

All you need to bring is your community spirit!
