Privacy

Thank you for visiting the City of St. John’s website. Your privacy is important. The City of St. John’s is subject to the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015 (the Act) and as such the City will not sell, share, rent or disclose your personal information to any third party. The City takes precautions to ensure that any personal information is not disclosed to government institutions, authorities, or third parties except if required by the Act, another applicable law or regulation.  Any cookies used by the City which provide information such as your IP address or domain name are also treated as confidential information by the City, even though this information may not be considered personal information under the Act and is not linked by the City to any personal information the City may have for you.

City employees are under strict legal requirements for access and use of personal information.
