Seniors Day 2025

Seniors Day is a free event held to celebrate the contributions that seniors make to our City and provides information, resources, and opportunities for recreation and socialization.

For 2025, Seniors Day is taking place on Thursday, October 2 at the Paul Reynolds Community Centre from 12 to 3:30 p.m. and is open to seniors. No registration is required and event is first come, first served. Parking is limited. 

There will be information booths, light refreshments, prize draws and entertainment.

Other celebrations

Seniors Day will also feature a flag raising at City Hall to recognize National Seniors Day and United Nations International Day of Older Persons. There will also be a proclamation during the City Council meeting. Details to be determined closer to the event.
