The Sustainable and Active Mobility Advisory Committee provides information and advice to Council on active and sustainable mobility, including cycling/biking, walking, public transit, and accessibility for both transportation and leisure.

Membership
The Committee is composed of a maximum of 11 residents serving as public members that reflect a diverse demographic including the following:
- up to two beginner to avid cyclists and users of other forms of active mobility transportation
- Up to two people with disabilities who have lived experience with either or a combination of a mobility barrier and a vision barrier
- up to two pedestrian representatives, including one runner and one walker
- up to two public transit user representatives (a combination of conventional and para transit users would be ideal)
- at least one member is a senior (50 years of age or over)
- at least one member is a youth (18 – 30)
- at least one member who is a parent/guardian of young children
