Contractors may be working on the following streets from October 27 to November 1 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation. Work continues to support the multi-year Major’s Path and Portugal Cove Road Improvements project. Starting Monday, October 27, lane reductions will be in effect daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Airport Heights Drive and Rhodora Street to facilitate construction work.

Motorists are advised there will be a temporary lane reduction for Waterford Bridge Road below the Columbus Drive Overpass. This lane reduction is necessary to facilitate work of the 2025 Bridge Rehabilitation project. Alternate pedestrian routes will be provided. Signage will be in place and flag persons will be on site. Slowdowns and delays will be experienced.
