Maggie Burton (she/her/elle) is a St. John's City Councillor, musician, writer, and mom. She has a Bachelor of Music degree from Memorial University where she specialized in violin and music history. In addition to her background in music, Maggie has experience working internationally as a management consultant and leadership coach, and spent several years working in childcare settings. She grew up in Brigus and currently lives downtown with her partner, Michael, and her four young children.
First elected in 2017, Maggie is happy to be serving a second term as an at-large Councillor where she strives to make St. John’s a more inclusive and sustainable city.
