The Audit Standing Committee is a Council-appointed committee reporting directly to Council on:

• Financial reporting
• Internal control systems
• Risk management
• Legal and regulatory compliance
• The external audit processes
• The internal audit functions

Membership

The Audit Standing Committee is chaired by a member of the public and comprised of a minimum of five members from the following stakeholder groups:

• Two residents serving as public members (1 serving as chair)
• A minimum of three Council members
