There are many free leisure opportunities in St. John's. From enjoying our parks, playgrounds and trails to free special events offered throughout the year by the City, there are many things to do.

• If you like to hike, check out the Grand Concourse or East Coast Trail websites.
• The City offers a number of recreation services at reasonable rates. You can sign up for emails on upcoming recreation and special events.
• Throughout the City, there are a number of sports and cultural organizations offering programs for registered participants.
• Concerts, shows and performances are offered at multiple venues.
• Visit museums and public libraries. Admission to all exhibition galleries at The Rooms (Provincial Archives, Art Gallery and Museum) is free between 6 - 9 pm on the first Wednesday evening of the month.
