How do I get permit parking on my street? |
Residential Parking programs may be implemented in areas where parking is restricted parking and there are limited off-street options. Residents who wish to have a permit program reviewed for their area can submit a request to Access St. John's. This should include a demonstrated consensus from the residents of the area that permits are requested. This will then be reviewed by the City’s Traffic Division and additional residential surveys may be required. Not all areas of the City can qualify as a permit area and each request requires individual review and analysis. |
Can I park my vehicle in front of my house? |
A residential permit does not guarantee a parking space in front of your house. It does ensure that non-residents are not taking up parking spaces on the street. |
Accessible on-street parking is available to residents who meet the criteria and who do not have access to off-street parking.
