Building and Demolition Permits |
For one and two-family dwellings including extensions to existing, the permit fees are calculated on area.
A $1000 refundable deposit for residential landscaping is required prior to approval or a permit being issued by the City.
For development in areas where municipal services are not available, a $2000 refundable culvert/septic deposit is required.
For all other construction including demolition, renovations, repairs, fences, accessory buildings and other miscellaneous structures, the permit fee is based on construction value.
Note: Separate permits are required for electrical and plumbing work. If the value changes upon completion of the project, revised estimates will be required and permit fees may be adjusted accordingly. |
