Older adults and seniors are invited to recognize Seniors’ Week from October 3 to 7 – the theme for 2022 is ‘Seniors Reconnecting’.
Join the celebration with a full week of free programming, including fitness classes, swimming, and an information session with Credit Counselling Services NL about stretching a loonie to a toonie.
For a full list of events and registration details, check the calendar of events on the city’s website. Registration is required for all events.
If you are unable to register online, you can visit the H.G.R. Mews Community Centre, Paul Reynolds Community Centre, or call 576-8490 or 576-8411, or email seniors@stjohns.ca.
Seniors’ week will also feature a flag raising at City Hall, and a proclamation during Council meeting.
