Road Construction: October 10 to 14

Contractors may be working on the following streets from October 10 to 14 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation.  Commuters may experience traffic delays in these areas:

• Allandale Road (Pippy Park Golf Club to the end)
• Barkham Street
• Blackwood Place
• Burdell Place
• Cadet Road
• Empire Avenue (Edinburgh Street to Freshwater Road)
• Factory Lane
• Geoffrey Place
• Gros Morne Place
• Mullock Street
• Scott Street
• Silverton Place
• Southlands Boulevard (City Limits to Ruby Line)
• St. Michaels Avenue (Symonds Ave to Civic # 39)
• Teakwood Drive
• Trepassey Place

Commuters may also experience traffic delays and should be wary of milled asphalt areas due to grind and patch operations on the following streets: 

• Beaumont Hamel Way
• Blackmarsh Road
• Brookfield Road
• Captain Whelan Drive
• Cheeseman Drive
• Columbus Drive
• Frecker Drive
• Great Southern Drive
• Hamlyn Road
• Harrington Drive
• Mundy Pond Road
• Ruby Line
• Southlands Boulevard
• Teakwood Drive
• Tree Top Drive

Other local/residential streets may have ongoing construction and affected homeowners and businesses have been notified separately.
