Correction: This notice was originally distributed with the incorrect civic number of 29 Patrick Street. This has been corrected to 25 Patrick Street.
A Public Meeting will take place regarding a rezoning application for land at 26 Alexander Street.
The City has received an application from Connections for Seniors to rezone land at 26 Alexander Street from the Commercial Local (CL) Zone to the Apartment 2 (A2) Zone to accommodate a sixty (60) unit Apartment Building. A Municipal Plan amendment is not required.
Along with this rezoning, the City is advertising the Discretionary Use of a Parking Lot at 25 Patrick Street, which will serve the proposed Apartment Building and will provide direct access onto Patrick Street.
You can learn more about this rezoning application on the Planning St. John’s webpage at engagestjohns.ca/planning. The Planning St. John's webpage allows the public to learn more about planning applications, track progress, give feedback and ask questions all in one place.
