A Discretionary Use application has been submitted for 710 Torbay Road.
A Light Industrial Use for KMK Capital Holdings ULC., was recently approved at 710 Torbay Road. The Use was to allow an Innovation Centre, which is a collaborative space used to bring together multiple sectors and communities to accelerate the development of the innovation-driven economy in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Centre has a floor area of 2,324m2 and contains shared office space, light industrial space for activities such as 3D printing, and areas to provide programming to accelerate learning. Parking is provided on site.
The applicant is proposing revised hours of operation for 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week, which would be extended from the hours currently permitted (Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.).
