A Public Hearing will take place regarding an application to rezone land at 50 Bennett Avenue to allow a Cluster Development. The proposed development will include three (3) Apartment Buildings and one (1) Four-Plex for a total of fifty (50) units.
The St. John's Municipal Council adopted St. John’s Municipal Plan Amendment Number 13, 2024, and St. John’s Development Regulations Amendment Number 39, 2024, on August 20, 2024, and hereby gives notice of its intent to seek registration of the amendments from the Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs, in accordance with the Urban and Rural Planning Act.
The effect of the Municipal Plan amendment would be to re-designate land at 50 Bennett Avenue from the Institutional District to the Residential District.
The effect of the Development Regulations amendment would be to rezone land at 50 Bennett Avenue from the Institutional (INST) Zone to the Apartment 1 (A1) Zone.
