Road Construction: August 15 to 19

Contractors may be working on the following streets from August 15 to 19 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation.  Commuters may experience traffic delays in these areas:

• Barkham Street
• Bonaventure Avenue (Howley Avenue to Fleming Street)
• Calver Avenue (Mayor Avenue to Newtown Road)
• Dunford Street
• Empire Avenue (Bonaventure Avenue to Freshwater Road)
• Factory Lane
• Geoffrey Place
• Gilbert Street
• Green Street
• Hillview Drive West
• King’s Road (Queen’s Road to Gower Street)
• Kiwanis Street
• Ladysmith Drive (Intersection of Kiwanis Street)
• Linscott Street (Merrymeeting Road to Freshwater Road)
• Mullock Street
• Pratt Place
• Reid Street (Thomas Street to Civic #37)
• Southlands Boulevard (City Limits to Ruby Line)
• Teakwood Drive (Southlands Boulevard to Bayberry Place)
• Thorburn Road (Bridge over Team Gushue Highway)
• Tracey Place
• Wallace Place

Commuters may also experience traffic delays and should be wary of milled asphalt areas due to grind and patch operations on the following streets:
