Celebrate those who make a difference in our community! The City of St. John’s is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Applause Awards.
“The Applause Awards provide a platform to recognize the remarkable people and groups who bring our city to life through their dedication and efforts,” said Mayor Danny Breen. “We encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the impact community leaders, local organizations, friends, and neighbours have made and to submit a nomination to celebrate their achievements.”
The annual civic awards program honours individuals, groups, and organizations who inspire and uplift our community through their exceptional efforts and achievements. Whether they champion inclusivity, drive innovation, or foster a sense of belonging, these extraordinary contributions help make St. John’s a vibrant and thriving city.
Nominations are now open across eight major categories, with over a dozen awards available. Visit StJohns.ca/Applause to learn more about the awards and complete the nomination forms. Submissions will be accepted until February 28, 2025.
