A Discretionary Use Application has been submitted by Newfoundland Power Inc. to replace the existing transmission line (Public Utility) in the area of the Southern Shore Highway.
A 1.6 km section of transmission line is proposed to be relocated along Bay Bulls Big Pond on the Southern Shore Highway. This new structure will replace the existing transmission line, moving the 24 single pole 66V transmission structures away from Bay Bulls Big Pond and relocating them on the opposition side of the highway.
