The City is considering a text amendment to the St. John’s Development Regulations, that would amend the Daycare Centre regulations to bring them more in line with the requirements and terminology used by the Province, allow Family Child Care Services (a daycare within a home) as a Permitted Use within various residential zones, and allow Daycare Centre as a Permitted Use in various commercial and institutional zones. The proposed changes can be found on the project page on Engage St. John's.
