Inclusion support to participate in City of St. John’s, Recreation Division Programs may be available to eligible applicants. Inclusion support is determined based on an individual’s strengths, needs and level of independence and may include:

• assistance selecting a program
• minor adaptations and accommodations
• partial support from Recreation staff
• full support from Inclusion staff (resources are limited and registration required)

Application process

Complete the inclusion support application and return by the deadline:

• Spring programs and Easter Camp: February 1
• After school program: March 1
• Summer programs: March 17
• Fall programs: July 17
• Winter programs: November 17

Staff will review the completed application and consult with your references (if applicable).

Once application is reviewed, and references are checked, staff will schedule an intake meeting.

Inclusion staff will advise you of next steps which vary based on the participant's level of independence, suggested support type, and available resources.
