The public male and female washrooms at the Quidi Vidi Lake boathouse will be closed for maintenance on May 5 and will reopen to the public on May 6 at 9 a.m. Washrooms on The Boulevard are open and available for use.

Motorists are advised that Springdale Street, between Water Street and George Street West, will be closed from May 8 to 12 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to facilitate the ongoing construction of the JAG Hotel. A traffic detour will be in place.

Underground infrastructure installation will be completed at the Waldegrave and Water Street intersection in the coming days, and underground work at Prescott Street and Job’s Cove is starting on Mon. May 8.
A road closure at the Prescott Street and Duckworth Street intersection is required to facilitate this phase of work. Signage and flag persons will be in place.
The city apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this construction project, which is scheduled to be completed by June 30, 2023.
