Due to forecasted weather conditions, waste collection for Area 1A and 1B including recycling for 1B is postponed and will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022. Garbage collection for Area 2A and 2B including recycling for 2B will also take place as scheduled on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022.
Residents in Area 1 and Area 2 may experience wastes collected later than normal on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022 due to the double day. The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

Contractors may be working on the following streets 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. from November 21 to 25 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation. Commuters may experience traffic delays in these areas:

7:00 a.m., Monday, November 21, 2022 to 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2022 Ruby Line, between Bay Bulls Road and Back Line, will be closed to facilitate ongoing construction work associated with the Goulds Servicing (Phase 2) Sanitary Trunk Sewer project.
Traffic will not be permitted to travel between Ruby Line and Bay Bulls Road. Properties within the closed area of Ruby Line can be accessed from the Back Line side of the road closure.

The Mundy Pond Trail near the construction area will be temporarily closed to carry out site work for the Mews Centre replacement. This closure is in effect from Friday, November 18, 2022 at 8:00 am until Wednesday, November 23, at 4:00 pm. Trail patrons are advised to turn around at the construction barriers or find alternate routes along Blackmarsh Road and Blackler Avenue to avoid the construction area.
