The City is planning for the next phase of the Water Street infrastructure project, set to start in spring 2023. The work includes excavation and underground work at the intersections of Water Street at Prescott Street/Job’s Cove, and Waldegrave Street.
Property owners, business owners, employees and people who live in the area are encouraged to attend a virtual information session to learn about the next phase of work prior to the construction season.

The City of St. John’s advises the public that a scheduled blast will occur at Robin Hood Bay on Sunday, Dec. 18 between 2 and 3 p.m.
The blast is happening on the east end of the landfill site in the quarry area. The purpose of the blast is for rock production as part of a recent contract awarded to Capital Ready-Mix.
Marshalls will be stationed along the East Coast Trail to inform hikers who may be in the area at the time.

The Loop at Bannerman Park opens today, Thursday, Dec. 15, and remains open for the 2022-23 season daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. when conditions are favourable.
The Loop is closed for maintenance daily from 1 to 2 p.m. and Friday to Monday from 4 to 5 p.m.
