The City of St. John’s has received a development application for the creation of an 18-hole disc golf course in Airport Heights at the top of McNiven Place. The area is currently an informal open space.

Contractors may be working on the following streets from October 9 to 14 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. City Influencers: A Fresh New Look for the 18-30 Community

In 2022, the Youth Engagement Panel was launched as an online space where people aged 18-30 could provide feedback to the City on various topics of interest to them. The online panel was a recommendation in the Youth Engagement Strategy as a great way for this age group to engage with the City in a quick and easy manner.

Due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday on Mon. Oct. 9 all City offices and facilities will be closed.
Please note:
- Waste and recycling will not occur on Monday, it will be collected on Tues. Oct. 10, along with regular Tuesday collection. Waste collection time may be later than usual as waste from two areas will be collected.
