Motorists are advised that a detour will be in place from May 27 to 29 to facilitate the ongoing construction of the Shared-Use Path on Canada Drive, however, access for local residents and emergency services will be maintained. Signage will be in place and flag persons will be on site.

Cruise Ship SH Diana arrives May 23

The SH Diana with 350 passengers is scheduled to arrive in the Port of St. John’s at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, and depart at 2:00 p.m.

Visitor Information Centre Open for the Season

The Visitor Information Centre is ready to kick off tourism season by extending their operating schedule to seven days a week, beginning on May 21. Located at 348 Water Street, the Visitor Information Centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including all statutory holidays.
