Contractors may be working on the following streets from June 26 to 30 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation. Commuters may experience traffic delays in these areas:

Motorists are advised that Bay Bulls Road from Civic 333 Bay Bulls Road to the Old Bay Bulls Road intersection will remain closed until Friday, June 30 at 5 p.m. No vehicular traffic will be permitted to pass through the closed section of Bay Bulls Road.
A detour remains in place on Bay Bulls Road (Old Bay Bulls Road to Walsh's Lane) to direct traffic around the construction zone. Local access for vehicular and pedestrian traffic inside the detoured area is permitted. Signage will be in place...

The City of St. John’s is implementing a pedestrian-only zone in Quidi Vidi Village during weekends (Friday to Sunday) this summer, starting June 23 until September 4.
This is the third year that the pedestrian-only zone is being implemented in Quidi Vidi Village, following positive feedback from residents and the community in previous years.
