There will be a lane reduction on Kenmount Road for eastbound lanes from Wyatt Boulevard to 479 Kenmount Road for a two week period Monday to Friday beginning Tuesday, June 13 to Friday, June 23, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily to facilitate culvert & ditching work.
Traffic will be maintained using temporary traffic signals; signage and flag persons will be in place.The City of St. John's apologizes for any inconvenience.

The City has received feedback from the local business community and the public, indicating that the maximum parking time limit of two hours is insufficient when visiting the downtown core. In response, maximum parking time limits will increase to three and four hours in multiple on-street parking areas, effective June 19, 2023.

Due to a mechanical issue, the pool, steam and sauna at the H.G.R. Mews Community Centre have been closed. Work continues to address this issue. An announcement on reopening will be made as soon as it is possible to do so.
Individuals with swimming lessons booked at this pool will be contacted by staff.
The City apologizes for any inconvenience caused.

The St. John’s economy is expected to grow in 2023, according to the latest Economic Outlook report released by the City. Construction-related activity associated with the West White Rose project will ramp up and rising population levels will benefit businesses in the region’s service sector.
