Motorists are advised that the section of Hebron Way, from Sea Rose Ave to Major’s Path, has been reopened to the public as of 2:00am today January 8, 2024.

Motorists are advised that Hebron Way, from Sea Rose Ave to Major’s Path, is closed due to heavy drifting and poor visibility. Only local traffic will be permitted beyond this point. An update will be provided once it has been reopened.

The 24-Hour Parking Ban outside the Designated Downtown Area and Business District ends at 7:30 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024.
The overnight winter parking ban remains in effect.

Due to the forecasted weather, the Paul Reynolds Community Centre and H.G.R. Mews Centre will have a delayed opening of 9 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
As the Lane and Leisure swim scheduled for 7:30 to 8:50 a.m. at Paul Reynolds Community Centre is cancelled, two additional Lane & Leisure sessions have been added from 9 to 10:50 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.

The 24-Hour Parking Ban will be in effect outside the Designated Downtown Area and Business District starting 6:00 p.m., Friday, Jan. 5, 2024.
On-street parking is prohibited 24-hours a day until the ban is lifted. Vehicles parked on the road during this time may be ticketed or towed.
An update will be issued to confirm when the parking ban will be lifted.
This parking ban is required for effective snow clearing and/or snow removal. Equipment operators can clear snow from roadways more effectively...

Due to the forecasted weather, City facilities will be closing at noon today, Jan. 5. This includes City Hall and all recreation facilities. Garbage collection and the Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility will remain open and in operation.
