Road Closure - January 2 to 5 (7:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.)
Motorists are advised that Springdale Street, from Water Street to George Street West, will be closed from Tuesday, January 2 to Friday, January 5 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to facilitate the ongoing construction of the JAG Hotel. A traffic detour will be in place.

Sunday, December 31, 2023 - 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
To facilitate the City of St. John's New Year's Eve fireworks display at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 31st the following streets will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted:
Carnell Drive (3:00 p.m.to 8:30 p.m.)
Lake Avenue
Clancey Drive
Lakeview Avenue
Legion Road
East White Hills Road
The Boulevard (from Legion Road to East White Hills Road (7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.)
Accessible parking will be available at the Dominion parking lot.

DescriptionThe proposed application is for a Home Occupation for spa services which will include manicures, pedicures, and nail extensions. Hours of operation will be Monday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The floor area will be approximately 10m2. There will be a 20-minute buffer between appointments. Due to the upcoming holidays most City offices and facilities are closed;
- Noon on Friday, Dec. 22, re-opening on Wednesday, Dec. 27
- Noon on Friday, Dec. 29, re-opening on Tuesday, Jan. 2
The next City Council meeting takes place at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9 and the next Committee of the Whole meeting will take place at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

The Loop is Open for the 2023-2024 Season

The Loop at Bannerman Park opens today, Tuesday, Dec. 19, and remains open for the 2023-24 season daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. when conditions are favourable.
The Loop is closed for maintenance daily from 1 to 2 p.m. and Friday to Monday from 4 to 5 p.m.
Call the Loop Line at 709-733-LOOP (5667) to check if it’s open. The Loop Line is updated for closures resulting from poor conditions. Learn all details on The Loop webpage.
