The City of St. John’s will host a Poetry Reading Event on March 21 in recognition of World Poetry Day.
The event will be hosted by the City’s Poet Laureate Mark Callanan and feature the following six poets:

If you own a house or commercial property in a Heritage Area or if you own a designated Heritage Building, the City of St. John’s is now accepting applications for maintenance or conservation funding.
The City’s Heritage Financial Incentives Program aims to conserve heritage resources by assisting property owners with grant funding available each year. Since the incentive program began in 2016, over $354,000 in grant funding has been awarded to 137 successful applicants.

Street widening activities are currently underway in various areas across the City and is expected to start in the Kenmount Terrace subdivision this weekend.
