The 24-Hour Parking Restriction will be in effect outside the Downtown and Business District starting 6 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023.
On-street parking is prohibited 24-hours a day until the restriction is lifted. Vehicles parked on the road during this time may be ticketed or towed.
An update will be issued to confirm when the parking restriction will be lifted.

Motorists are advised that Springdale Street, between Water Street and George Street West, will be closed from January 9 to 13 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to facilitate the ongoing construction of the JAG Hotel. A traffic detour will be in place.

The following overnight winter parking restrictions come into effect on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023. These restrictions are in effect daily.
Outside the Downtown
Vehicles are not permitted to park on the street between 12:30 and 7:30 a.m., regardless of weather and street conditions.
Downtown Business District

To facilitate the City of St. John's New Year's Eve fireworks display at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31 the following streets will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted:
Accessible parking will be available at the Dominion parking lot. The City also recommends attendees remain in their vehicles to watch the fireworks.
