The Amera with 645 passengers is scheduled to arrive in the Port of St. John's on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 8 a.m. and depart at 6 p.m.
The Ocean Endeavour is scheduled to arrive at 7:30 am and depart 6 p.m.

Due to the wet weather forecast, work on Blackhead Road at Blackhead Crescent will be postponed until a later date.
Originally, this work was planned for Saturday Oct 8, 2022, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to facilitate the installation of culverts.

Effective Friday, Oct. 7 at 4:30 p.m., Visitor Information Services at the Welcome Centre, 348 Water Street, will be closed for the season with the exception of cruise ship visits. Visitors can contact the centre during the off season via email: tourism@stjohns.ca.

Today, Committee of the Whole voted to enhance snow clearing resources at 122 pedestrian street crossings. The recommendation will be referred to a future City Council meeting for a final vote.
The cost for more snow clearing resources is $270,015 for eight employees, one supervisor, two leased loaders and two light duty trucks.
