The City of St. John’s is seeking performers for the 2023 special events season. Our annual Call for Performers helps the City program arts and cultural performances for special events like the Music @ concert series, Dockside welcomes and other City of St. John’s hosted events and festivals.
We invite solo and group applications in all the performing arts disciplines. The deadline to apply is Friday, March 31, 2023. Please complete the online application form.

The pipes in your home can freeze in cold weather. This can leave you with no water or cause your pipes to burst, leading to expensive property damage. The St. John’s Regional Fire Department recommends that the safest way to thaw frozen water pipes is to obtain the service of a qualified plumber or others qualified in this field.

On Monday, August 22, thousands of fans crowded the streets of downtown St. John’s to get a glimpse of Stanley Cup champion Alex Newhook. Alex spent his day with the Cup amongst friends and fans here in St. John’s. DescriptionThe City has received an application to rezone land at 366-374 Empire Avenue from the Apartment 1 (A1) Zone to the Residential 3 (R3) Zone to accommodate a townhouse development on a new public cul-de-sac.
