As the country celebrates National Volunteer Week, the City of St. John’s is celebrating volunteers in our community, too.

Today, Mayor Darrin Bent of the Town of Conception Bay South, Mayor Dan Bobbett of the Town of Paradise, and Mayor Danny Breen of the City of St. John’s, together signed a Letter of Intent to establish a Regional Economic Development Agency that will align resources and collectively elevate economic development opportunities to build stronger and more resilient communities in the region.

Take notice that the St. John’s Municipal Council has enacted the St. John’s Commercial Maintenance (Amendment No. 1-2023) By-Law.
The said By-Law was passed by Council on the seventeenth day of April, A.D., 2023, to amend St. John’s Commercial Maintenance By-Law so as to update the provisions related to garbage receptacles and to incorporate provisions related to Parklets.

Motorists are advised that Gleneyre Street will be closed to through traffic near the Torbay Road intersection.
