Road Work: Access to Sugarloaf Path Restricted

The East Coast Trail's Sugarloaf Path will not be accessible from Cadet Road on Tuesday, August 29th due to road work. The City apologizes for any inconvenience.

Traffic Delays - Goulds - Various Streets

7:00 a.m. Monday, August 28 to 6:00 p.m. Friday September 22

Motorists are advised they may experience traffic delays in Goulds due to inspection of the existing sanitary manholes in the area over the next four weeks.

Vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be maintained. Signage will be in place and flag persons will be on site as necessary. Motorists may experience slow-downs and delays and are encouraged to use an alternate route if possible.

Street Rehab - August 28 to September 1

Contractors may be working on the following streets from August 28 to September 1 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs.  Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation.  Commuters may experience traffic delays in these areas:

The Celebrity Summit with 2450 passengers is scheduled to arrive in the Port of St. John’s at 7 a.m. on Saturday, August 26 and depart at 6 p.m. The Caribbean Princess with 3142 passengers is scheduled to arrive in the Port of St. John’s at 8 a.m. on Sunday, August 27 and depart at 5 p.m.
