Residents are advised that construction will begin on Monday, June 10 to rehabilitate the Allandale Road Bridge which crosses over Rennie's River. This project is anticipated to be completed by September 2024.
Vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be maintained while work is ongoing. Traffic delays and lane reductions can be expected, and the motoring public are advised to seek alternate routes if possible. There will be signage in place to help direct traffic and flagpersons will be on site.

Motorists are advised there will be lane reductions in place on the Allandale Road Bridge over Rennie’s River to facilitate work of a bridge rehabilitation project. A detour will be in place on Duckworth Street on June 10 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. between King’s Road and Holloway Street, to facilitate construction related to the Provincial Government’s National War Memorial refurbishment project.
Emergency access will be maintained. Pedestrian access will be also maintained for businesses in the area and business owners are encouraged to speak to the project representatives on site with any concerns.

The City of St. John's had a watermain break of a 20-inch pipe in the area of Carrick Drive, Regent Street and Outer Ring Road this morning.
City Crews worked quickly to address the break, and are actively working on repairs. It is estimated that work may be finished by midnight tonight, Thursday, June 6.
