Property Re-Assessment Year 2024

Property Assessments take place on a two-year assessment cycle and 2024 is a reassessment year. The City of St. John’s will be issuing assessments to property owners beginning in June 2023. The assessed value of everyone’s property is set as of a “base date.” This ensures that each property within the city is treated uniformly with all properties being assessed as of the same date.
