Take notice that St. John’s Development Regulations Amendment Number 58, 2025, adopted on July 15, 2025 has been registered by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Community Engagement.
In general terms, the purpose of St. John’s Development Regulations Amendment Number 58, 2025, is to rezone land at 7 Waterford Bridge Road from the Residential 1 (R1) Zone to the Apartment 2 (A2) Zone, to allow the development of an Apartment Building.

As we continue to experience dry conditions this summer, the City of St. John’s reminds residents to use water wisely and follow the year-round Water Conservation Order, which applies to all outdoor water use. While additional conservation measures are not required at this time, water levels are low and it is important that residents comply with the existing order to help protect our shared water resources.

To facilitate culvert rehabilitation, construction work will occur along the edge of Blackhead Road starting on Monday, August 11 in the following areas:
