Bannerman and Bowring Park swimming pools will use a wristband system to identify swimmers. All patrons are now required to wear a wristband to enter the pool area at both outdoor pool sites.

Two free public wifi areas will be established in Victoria Park and Bannerman Park, in close proximity to non-market housing locations and street outreach services.
Due to the August civic holiday on Monday, August 3, most City offices and facilities will be closed.

Residential Parking Permit renewals will be processed by phone starting on Monday, July 27. To renew an expired Residential Parking Permit call 311 or 754-CITY (2489) between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The Kenmount Terrace Community Park splash pad is now open, along with Bowring Park and Bannerman Park. Splash pads are in operation daily from 9 a.m. to dusk.
Opportunities for further improvement of the Pedestrian Mall are being explored to ensure the mall is inclusive and welcoming for all ages and abilities.
The Department of Municipal Affairs has approved the City’s request to observe a civic holiday on Monday, August 3, 2020 to replace the Regatta Day statutory holiday.
Due to the Orangemen’s Day holiday on Monday, July 13, most City offices and facilities will be closed. All Recreation centres and outdoor pools are open on Monday.
