Traffic pilot project removed at Quidi Vidi Road
Infrastructure to support changes for two traffic pilot projects downtown has been removed in advance of snow clearing operations beginning for the winter. Former conditions have now been reinstated.

Today, Councillor Sandy Hickman joined local artist Julie Lewis to officially unveil the Great Fire of 1892 commemorative mural at McBride’s Hill in St. John’s.
The City has recently introduced several traffic pilot projects to enhance pedestrian safety, and improve traffic flow. Staff are seeking public feedback through an online survey.
Remembrance Day Poppy
Due to the Remembrance Day holiday on Saturday, Nov. 11, City offices will be closed in observance of the holiday on Monday. There is no waste collection on Monday, Nov. 13.
