Due to the Victoria Day holiday on Monday, May 20 all City offices and facilities will be closed. Garbage and recycling will not be collected on Monday.
The Paul Reynolds Community Centre swimming pool will remain closed this weekend and into next week. The City will provide another update by Wednesday, May 22.

Due to mechanical issues the swimming pool at the Paul Reynolds Community Centre is temporarily closed. Staff are currently investigating the cause of the issue.
Amadea and Silverwind in St.John's on May 8, 2019
Cruise ships Amadea and Silverwind began the cruise season in St. John’s as they entered through the Narrows with 900 passengers on Wednesday, May 8. This year we are scheduled to host 37 ship visits.

The Bowring Park Foundation and the City of St. John’s are looking for input into the question: “What’s next for Bowring Park?” The engagement process kicks off May 6 and runs until mid-June.
Family planting a tree
This year the City is launching ‘Residential Re-Leaf’. Through this program, homeowners within the City can apply for a $150 voucher towards the purchase of a tree to plant on their property.
