Call for Performers - Music at Harbourside

Music at Harbourside is a series of outdoor lunchtime concerts that take place every Friday from July 4 to September 19 at Harbourside Park in downtown St. John’s.
Concerts run from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., and are great fun!

Applications should include:

  1. A bio of the musician or group, including full contact information (mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number);
  2. a CD or DVD of your material (no USB drives or links to online material – we cannot review these); special consideration may be given to musicians that include some component of First World War themed content in their submission, as one or more concerts may coincide with First World War commemorations.
  3. a stage plot; or a list of all performers, instruments, and sound equipment requirements – mics, cables, etc. (you’ll have to provide any other equipment yourself, if required – music stands, stools, etc.);
  4. The total fee to be paid by the City to the performer(s) based on the following scale: $200 per performer, to a maximum of $800 (please note any and all applicable taxes in the total fee to be paid).
  5. a list of which Fridays you are available to perform (of July 4, 11, 18, 25, August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, September 5, 12, 19).

The deadline for receipt of applications is 4 p.m. on Friday, May 23.
