2014 Streets Rehabilitation Program - Weekly Construction Schedule (Monday, July 28 - Friday, August 1)

2014 Streets Rehabilitation Program Weekly Construction Schedule for Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 25
...New Gower Street will be closed between Queen Street and Duckworth Street from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm to facilitate the form up of the Pride Parade.

...Water Street will be closed between Clift's/Baird's Cove and Ayre's Cove on Sunday July 20, 2014 between 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. to facilitate the use of a crane to install roof top equipment. All traffic will be detoured except emergency vehicles....

...Motorists and pedestrians are advised that New Gower Street eastbound will be closed between Barters Hill/Waldegrave Street and Queen Street from 6 a.m. Friday July 4, 2014 to midnight, Monday July 7 to facilitate removal of the tower crane from the St. John's Convention Centre site....

Water Street will be closed between Ayre's Cove/McBride's Hill and Clift's - Baird's Cove this Sunday June 22, 2014, between 7 a.m. and 12 noon to facilitate the installation equipment on top of the Bank of Montreal building. All through traffic including Metrobus will be detoured. Access will...
Goldstone Street will be closed between Thorburn Road and Sorrell Drive on Sunday June 22, 2014 from 7 a.m. to 12 noon to facilitate a temporary bridge installation. All traffic will be detoured, including emergency vehicles. Motorists should use an alternate route and expect delays.
...Motorists are advised that Blackmarsh Road will be reduced to one lane west of Canada Drive starting 7am Wednesday June 18, 2014 for one week to facilitate infrastructure improvements. Flagpersons will be in place daily, with temporary traffic signal controls in effect in the evenings....

...The Ride for Dad takes place Saturday, June 14 from 10 to 11 a.m. There will be approximately 600 bikes and it's estimated it will take 15 minutes for the procession to cross through any intersection on the route. Motorists should expect significant delays anywhere along the route.
...Traffic will be reduced to one lane on Main Road near Wilmina Drive due to work on a water service leak on Tuesday, June 10. The traffic interruption is expected to begin at 8 a.m. and end by 6 p.m.
...Motorists and pedestrians are advised that due to road repairs, Quidi Vidi Village Road will be closed between Cuckhold's Cove Road & Barrow's Road until 12 p.m. noon today, Wednesday, June 4, 2014.

...Quidi Vidi Village Road will be impassable today due to Watermain Break repairs in the area of civic #83. Access will be maintained for local residents only. Repairs to the break are underway and should be completed by 5 p.m. today, May 27, 2014 at which time the road will be re-opened.
...Waldegrave Street northbound will be closed between Water Street and George Street from May 27, 2014 to June 23, 2014 to facilitate expansion of the Convention Center. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes....
