Where:
Harbourside Park

Music @ Harbourside is the signature component of our "Music @" concert series, with concerts every Friday at 12:30 p.m. in beautiful Harbourside Park. Many different musical styles are featured in the 'Music @' Concert Series including folk, rock, pop, country, and more. Each concert opens with a youth performer coordinated through a partnership with the Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Arts Society.

These opening acts and our headliners showcase the incredible and diverse musical talent the City has to offer. Kick back with family, friends, or co-workers to enjoy your lunch break and welcome the weekend. It’s like running through a sprinkler on a hot day – refreshing, fun and sure to make you smile!

Music @ Harbourside has become a staple of the St. John’s summer.

July 8: Coaker's Hat with youth opening act Brett Crane

Brett Crane is a 15-year-old musician from St. Philip’s. He enjoys playing guitar and singing and is always looking for opportunities to perform. Brett performs regularly at church, at school, and at open-mic events around the city. Brett has performed at the NL Folk Festival at Bannerman Park, Young Folk at the Hall with Fergus O'Byrne, the CBS Winter Carnival, the Up and Comers concert series, and various events for NL Folk Arts Society. Brett has also participated in the City of St. John's Music @ Concert Series and volunteers his time to perform for a seniors group during the summer months on Bell Island.

Coaker's Hat have been playing together since the summer of 2014. The four boys got together for the love of music, but it quickly flourished into a love of tastefully updating traditional tunes and expanding original compositions to push their limits as a group to produce quality, crowd pleasing arrangements.
