Canada Day Celebrations July 1
The City of St. John’s invites residents and visitors to our Canada Day celebrations on July 1. These events are funded in part by the Government of Canada.
Join us for a celebration of the incorporation of one of North America’s oldest cities. All St. John's Days events are free to attend and everyone is welcomed.
The City of St. John's annual Tourism Awards recognize individuals, groups and businesses for their outstanding contributions to the tourism industry in providing a unique and quality experience.

The built heritage in St. John’s is a significant part of our culture. Each year on Heritage Day the City recognizes outstanding efforts in heritage restoration with the annual heritage awards.

The public are invited to one of two engagement sessions to provide feedback on a new proposed site location for the replacement of the H.G.R. Mews Community Centre at Mundy Pond Park.
