Swimming

The City of St. John's offers swimming and pool programming year round. Swim programs include swimming pool parties, Canadian Red Cross swim levels, as well as Swimming Instructor and Lifeguarding courses.

Ticket purchase/registration is required for all swims. Registration is available one week at a time and begins 9am on Saturdays for the following week. A RECconnect account is required for ticket purchase/registration. Set up an account and purchase swim tickets at stjohns.ca/RECconnect.
 
Each swim ticket costs $3. Once swim tickets are purchased the sale is final, refunds or credits will not be provided.    

Paul Reynolds Community Centre Swimming Pool
35 Carrick Drive. Amenities include: 25-metre indoor swimming pool, therapeutic warm water leisure pool with zero depth beach entry, two waterslides, hydraulic lift and water wheelchairs, universal changerooms, accessible family change rooms, pool viewing area.  

H.G.R. Mews Community Centre Swimming Pool
40 Mundy Pond Road. Amenities include: 25-metre indoor swimming pool, 1-metre diving board, pool viewing area, co-ed steam room/dry sauna, wheelchair accessible, pool lift.

Bowring Park Outdoor Swimming Pool and Splash Pad
Bowring Park, located off Waterford Bridge Road. Amenities include: 50-metre outdoor swimming pool, wading pool for tots, accessible change rooms, 3-metre and 1-metre diving boards and a water slide. The Splash Pad located adjacent to the swimming pool. This is a zero-depth accessible play area where free aquatic play is available all summer long.

Bannerman Park Outdoor Swimming Pool and Splash Pad
Bannerman Park, on Bannerman Road. Amenities include: L-shaped 25-metre outdoor swimming pool, accessible change rooms. The Splash Pad located adjacent to the swimming pool. This is a zero-depth accessible play area where free aquatic play is available all summer long.

Kenmount Terrace Splash Pad
