Youth Learm to... Classic Cross-country Ski If you've never skied before or have been a frustrated skier, this course will help get you started on the right track. All equipment is provided. For ages 12 to 16. For more information or to register, click here.

Please Note: The following four courses are Duke of Edinburgh compatible and completing all four covers the preliminary training for the bronze level.

Spring Programs

The Following Courses are 18+, unless otherwise noted, and require registration.
 

Archery for Adults Learn the basic skills of archery such as: proper shooting procedure, how to aim, types of equipment and safety regulations. Along the way you will play games that reinforce those skills.  All equipment is provided. For ages 18+ Registration for Spring courses will begin on April 6, 2017
Family Archery Learn the basic skills of archery including proper shooting procedure, how to aim, types of equipment and safety regulations. Along the way you will play games that reinforce those skills. All equipment is provided. For families of 2 to 6 members, living in the same household, minimum age is 6 years old. Registration for Spring courses will begin on April 6, 2017
  Take these courses individually or take all 4 courses and qualify for the preliminary training for the broze level of Duke of Edinburgh.  
Backpacking Basics Interested in backpacking but not sure where to start? Learn all the basics of how to plan your trip, what to bring and how to pack your bag. Also learn how to apply Leave No Trace camping skills to all of your trips. Registration for Spring courses will begin on April 6, 2017
Navigational Skills Learn to navigatev through the wilderness using a map, compass and GPS. If you have a GPS and manual bring it along. Registration for Spring courses will begin on April 6, 2017
Outdoor Cooking Tired of eating the same old camp food? Want to learn how to prepare a delicious three course meal while on the trail? We will teach you how to prepare a menu, package your food and cook nutrritious meals over the camp stove or fire. Registration for Spring courses will begin on April 6, 2017
Wilderness Survival Learn skills to help you survive in the wilderness such as shelter building, fire building, knot tying and signaling. Registration for Spring courses will begin on April 6, 2017
