The St. John’s Regional Fire Department offers station tours to the public at all fire stations. Community groups, schools and individuals are welcome to take a tour and see where the firefighters eat, sleep, study and train while on duty. Visitors have an opportunity to see the firefighting equipment and fire engine up close, and an opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat. Fire safety and prevention presentations are also available to the public. Boy Scout and Girl Scout groups can fulfill badge requirements by completing both an educational session and station tour.
