There's lots of snow now, and we want everyone to get out and enjoy it. We have equipment that can assist persons with disabilities participate in recreation and leisure activities.

During the winter the C. A. Pippy Park campground is transformed into an area suitable for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Equipment rental is available in the Winter Activity Centre.

The Loop at Bannerman Park is now open, and will remain open for the 2016-17 season, when conditions are favourable. Call the Loopline at 733-LOOP (5667) to check if it's open.

But the City of St. John's offers much more than the basic municipal services, have a look and find out why St. John's is such a great place to live and raise a family.

The Humane Services Animal Care and Adoption shelter is at capacity. Until the end of January we’ve reduced the cat adoption fee by half – from $120 down to $60.
